Cinemas around Bristol

Odeon Cinema Bristol

Union St, Avon, Bristol BS1 2DS, UK – 0333 014 4501

Very good value cinema showing the latest movies. Seats are comfortable but lack drinks holder. Tickets prices are more than reasonable at around a 5er, however if you are a student then you can get a ticket for under 4! Amazing value and will most definitely come back again!

A very affordable value for money cinema, has every facility a cinema should have. Staff are friendly and helpful, snacks are abundant and medium priced. The theater itself feels abit dated and not as posh, screening quality is decent, sound quality is perfect. The way seats are positioned, seats at the back are not elevated high enough to be able see pass the seats in front if you that well. Overall still a good cinema to go to! Area is clean and sanitary, toilets are clean and well kept as well.

Cabot Circus, Glass House, Bristol BS1 3BX, UK – 0871 220 1000

Big, nice cinema in the heart to Bristol's shopping complex. One of the best seat technology I have seen in the cinemas. Big screen and great surrounding sound without being too loud. Overpriced snacks and drinks, but variety of options to chose from. Also has a bar inside which is a nice detail for waiting adults.

Fantastic cinema in the centre of Bristol in a nice shopping centre. Car parking is accessible. The cinema is well designed and have a good number of screens. Prices are expensive, the directors showing feels amazing. The cinema is also close to bus routes and food court is right next to it as well.

The Orpheus Cinema

51 Northumbria Dr, Bristol BS9 4HN, UK – 0871 230 3200

Great little cinema with three screens. Recently refurbished. Has snacks and drinks available. Warm, helpful and friendly staff. Latest releases with a chance to catch the ones you missed with their Silver Screen showings on Tuesdays (10.30 am with a complementary cup of tea or coffee and biscuits!!) Excellent value all day Monday. All seats pre-bookable either on line or in person or you can take a chance and turn up on the day. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I was really expecting a shoddy experience considering the price, but it was lovely. Nice, clean, friendly, good food / drinks on offer, amazing prices, good quality. Really lovely cinema, will be back pronto.

Theatres for Bristol

Theatre Bristol

Fire station, 82-84 York Rd, Bristol BS3 4AL, UK – 0117 373 0873

Great day out for children whom are interested in science. Would recommend as something to go and do if your only in Bristol a short time.

The oldest English speaking theatre in the world, amazing building and great productions. Pretty much every seat gives you a great view.

Tobacco Factory Theatres

The Tobacco Factory, Raleigh Rd, Bristol BS3 1TF, UK – 0117 902 0344

This place is brilliant. Has an awesome array of events as well as brilliant food and drink. It is a bit out of the way if you live closer to the city but is well worth the travel.

We were lucky enough to celebrate the New Year here, where we attended a Disco spanning from the 31st of December 2017 until the early hours of the 1st of January 2018. There was some good food, lots of entertainment, and plenty of beverages. The Disco theme was great fun, and a great excuse to dig out the old flared trousers. We drank plenty of sparkling wine, and welcomed 2018 in style.

Bristol Hippodrome

St Augustine's Parade, Bristol BS1 4UZ, UK – 0844 871 7627

Took my wife to see hairspray last night for a belated birthday present in January something I knew she wanted to see, sat there watching her watching the show, her face was a picture and said it all. We love Bristol Hippodrome and will be returning many times well done everybody at Bristol Hippodrome.A* all members of staff that we encountered were helpful polite and had smiles on their faces like they enjoyed being there A* That's great to see. I would like to thank everyone for a great night at Bristol Hippodrome highly recommended to all.....

Great place. Second only to the Royal Albert Hall. A word of warning, do not drink too much, as the toilets can only accommodate a tiny amount of people at a time. Would also recommend, if you are planning to purchases a snack in the interval, ordering it beforehand. Just download the app, or easier still, just wave the menu in the air, and an usher will gladly take your order, payment, and then bring it to your seat at the interval! Genius.
